First "Tank Day" of 2014. Gin clear water pH balanced to eye pH. Heater not working yet, but water 75F and air 71F; "doable" with a tough model. Aerial from quadcopter about 75' looking straight down.

Trying a new vantage point, 20-100' above the Virginia Beach shoreline yesterday. Hot sand almost had me looking like Dudley Moore hopping around in movie "10" with Bo Derrick.
Note that the quadcopter shadow was put/left in the frame intentionally.

First Flight; DJI Phantom 2 Vision +
First flight of the new Quad...a DJI Phantom 2 Vision + at the elegant Cavalier Hotel on the hill, Virginia Beach, VA. On board 14MPix still and video camera on a 3-axis gimbal to keep things looking smooth. Grass was a little tall so takeoffs and landings on an apple box. Windy and gusty; looking forward to some still air...maybe early morning.
