First pool session of the season. Know what's missing?
Airline Carryon Size Revised - Buddy Glenn Eaves alerted me to an airline carryon size change at several of the big carriers. Maximum is now 22 x 14 x 9 inches versus 22 x 15 x 9. This GoProfessional case for the Phantom 2 Vision+ QuadCopter is 16.5 x 9.5 x 21, so it's too big.
Also, the mainstay of many photographers with high value photo gear that absolutely-positively can't be lost or delayed without serious consequences to large crew, boat departure and similar sessions is something like the ThinkTank Airport Security v2.0 advertised to be the legal 22 x 14 x 9.
Things like this have a way to creating whole new industries. It just takes time and some inventive thinking.

I mentioned the BODYART dancer shoot to someone today and they said, "I thought you were an underwater guy." Yeah, well, yesterday I was studio shooting frozen ice cream cakes for a food manufacturing client, Sunday was dancers in a New York mansion, another day would be high end interiors or perhaps, lately, drone aerials. But, this is Shark Week, so here's one of my shark images. I like sharks. A lot.
Another reflection pool session at Chuck Guthrie's Lynnhaven Marine Boatel. We do these on warm nights after boat work is done for the day and it's dark outside. We build the pool and fill it with an inch of water in a half hour or so. Usually finish by midnight or 1AM.
