We were working in Lake Rawlings in Rawlings, VA doing a series of scenic, underwater and under/over images (Christina, Bob, Malena, Errol, Tyler, me and a 17-hour day). The water was chilly (55-65 degrees F), but it was a sunny, blue-sky 80F day. Hot chocolate and Oreos kept us going between water sessions.
We were working on a signature image for "late afternoon/dusk" at the Lynnhaven Inlet/Duck Inn waterfront in Virginia Beach, VA. The weather isn't always perfect and it takes multiple trips for everything to work. If the weather looks promising, we load a green/yellow fat-wheel Rolleze beach cart with a fat tripod, camera, laptop, rake, boots and start about an hour before sunset. Sometimes I feel like a lunatic trying to shape the wave with body english. But, hey, sometimes it works.
