Was in NY last week for Photo Expo, then spent a day in the Meat Packing District. This is the first floor gallery at the Milk Studios. Last time I was here, the gallery was full of Sam Haskins' work. I'd been a Haskins fan for years since introduction to his work in Paris (a 1973 Pentax Calendar by Sam hangs in my studio). But, back to the Meat Packing District.... it is a concentration of galleries, restaurants, an access to one end of the High Line, the Whitney Museum, a 3-story Apple Store with glass steps in a spiral (each step tread must have cost as much as my first house), a Google building, the Chelsea Market and celebrity digs all around.
