I thought the outdoor setting would also lend itself to a monochrome with sepia tint.

Girl on a log; Seashore/First Landing State Park

We are back in Seashore/First Landing State Park in Virginia Beach. Liz climbed out of the inflatable onto the log and shimmied up to a point where there was something to hold onto. We are still working with the creative lens and blur.

We put the red and black in the water yesterday. Red always looks good underwater when it's lit.

Virginia Beach Convention Center

We've moved from a State Park to the new Virginia Beach Convention Center, plantings along the walkways from the parking lot. But, we're sticking with abstractions and some blur.

Liz and the blur

Liz and I worked in Seashore/First Landing State Park from the inflatable dinghy. We could get to some wilderness settings where the water was as shallow as six inches.

I apoligized for making her ride several miles at the crack of dawn with coolers of cameras in a 12' rubber boat. She said it was okay since the boat had an honorable history serving as tender to Mirage IV, a French sailboat I had in the British Virgin Islands in a previous life.

Footbridge over marsh grass

I'm building a picture in my mind. In this case, I've found a location. It will stand nicely on its own as a scenic piece, but now on to another genre. Fashion? Something else? We'll see.

Scouting Seashore/First Landing State Park

A photographer friend and I took the inflatable dinghy scouting the pheriphy of Seashore/First Landing State Park early this morning. Also trying different components and settings of a creative lens.
