I got a lot of sleep on the Socorro Island boat and had a bunch of images running around in my head with ideas of how to treat them. After yesterday's tweak of dancer Lauren Taylor Shorb, today I turned to Tara Lynn.
I like the straight images, but I want to work with some shifts in the color pallet, adding some textures and, for some, a frame.
More to come as time allows.
Needed a break this afternoon and took the iPad to Starbucks. Nursing a grande decaf latte 2%, I used a couple of iPad/iPhone programs to tweak one of dancer Lauren Shorb's frames from last month.
Boatmate Jeff Yonover took this photo while I was photographing one of the manta rays last week in the Socorro Islands. I'm easy to spot with the SCUBAPRO Seawing Nova fins in orange. -- with Jeff Yonover.
Back from the Socorro Islands 250 miles (25 hour crossing) off the Baja Peninsula from San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. Good session on Rocio del Mar with mantas and dolphins. Some hammerhead action, but not close. Too early for humpbacks. Great boat, crew and other passengers.
