Some of you will remember Aaron Jones inventing the optical light painting system Hosemaster. I spent a week with him at his studio near Santa Fe, New Mexico learning to shoot this with a 4x5 film camera. It is a little different shooting it with digital systems, but it still works.

Trying some new things in studio with an old horse trough.
Had a little extra time this afternoon so dragged the Hosemaster out of the closet and painted the Honda generator (with light).
The "Kodachrome" image surfaces again. It's pretty funny to watch someone's face when I explain how this was done (with old film stock and scotch tape).
